I had the strangest dream this morning.
So I'm walking through a grocery store with an umbrella, and randomly I'm approached by a drunk Julia Deakin, who is yelling and slurring at me incomprehensibly. I look down to see what she's pointing at, and five black cats jump out of my umbrella. The topic drifts abruptly from my cats to the Palm Pre, and she offered me a job on the register. Which was a nice of her, but she clearly didn't work in the store.
If you can figure out the symbolism behind this one, the men in white coats should be there any minute.

The EURUSD is testing support at the 1.4066 level. The level was a low price on January 21st and January 22nd. A move below will look toward the 2010 low of 1.4029 for the pair. Below that level is support at 1.4000 to 1.4007.The pairs move down today, is a break from the corrective phase that took the pair up to the 38.2% retracement resistance of the move down from the January 19th high to low range today. The level came in at the 1.4176. The high today reached 1.4178 and reversed.

The GPBUSD price tested the 1.6144 resistance target and reversed. The pair is back down, looking to test the 1.6101 low for the day. A break below will target lower levels with the 1.6088 low for the week and the 1.6076 low from last week as the obvious next targets. Longer term a more substantial move lower can not be ruled out given the break back below the 200 day moving average today.

In your opinion is retail still impacted by recession? December sale looked good, however it seems there is cautious optimism with many retail companies in the throes of recession. Wal-Mart has just let go close to 14,000 employees! What is your opinion?

Do you believe this information would be useful for a newbie trader/investor like myself? I've not had much success yet but I'm determined to keep working at it. One problem I see is that there are so many differing opinions about so many issues. I try to read as much as possible and watch for those opinions that are widely held. I figure that if a lot of people are saying the same thing, it's reasonable to think there may be some truth in it.
