About Me

Taken at the last World Electronic Music Festival in Canada, 2008
My name is Logan Koester. If I'm not at a rave, you can find me circling Boston with a laptop, making the web my bitch. There was a time when I thought PHP would save the day, but truth be told it's a few clowns short of the circus. Lately I prefer to spend my time with Ruby (on or off Rails).
I care too much about open source, prefer Ubuntu Linux, love web standards, tinker with microformats, script anything I might ever have to do twice, twitter 24/7, and hate mayonnaise.
I spend a lot of time checking out new tech, be it cloud computing, jQuery plugins, Ruby gems, CSS frameworks, web services or anything else I think might make life a little easier. I like to share my discoveries, which is where this blog comes in (don't ask where it comes out).
The rest of my time I divide between Paul the Walrus, which I work on with my roommate, Erik Lindberg, and the latest freelance gig I've been talked into. Did I mention I can be talked into freelance gigs?
